A Secure Access Code (SAC) is a unique, single-use 6-digit code which protects against fraud by safeguarding your online transactions and sensitive information. A SAC is another level of authentication in addition to your Login ID and password, providing you stronger online security.
You will need your SAC in order to log in to the new system for the first time after the upgrade is complete.
When logging in with the SAC, you will have the option to bypass this step on future logins. For security purposes, do not register any shared devices.
-
Yes. After the upgrade is complete, you will need to download a new app from your device's app store. For help with your first login, visit our interactive demo.
The new mobile app will provide you with the same level of mobile deposit access you previously enjoyed. To get started, simply tap Deposit Check in the new mobile app.
-
If you were previously signed up for Bill Pay, you will remain so after the upgrade. To use the feature on a desktop, you will simply navigate to Payments > Bill Payment. Or on mobile, access Bill Pay from your home screen.
All previously-saved Bill Pay information - such as payees, scheduled payments, and recurring payments - will be in your new Bill Pay profile.
Important: You may notice a change in when your bill payment funds are deducted from your account's available funds. Electronic payments will be deducted from your account on the evening before the Send Date. Funds must be available by 6:00 pm on the evening before the Send Date for payment to be sent. Check payments will be mailed to your payee on the Send Date and the payment will be deducted from your account when the payee cashes or deposits the check.
You can see if a payment will be electronic or via check by an icon next to the payee names.
-
Yes. For security reasons, we are unable to transfer eBill enrollments to the new Digital Banking. If you currently have eBills set up for any of your payees, please re-enroll them for eBills in the new service when it's available.
-
Internal transfers: If you have previously scheduled internal transfers - transfers between your own accounts at Minnwest Bank - those will continue. You can view these at Transfers & Payments > Branch Activity. If you wish to manage these transfers digitally, please follow these steps: 1) Contact your branch or call us at 1-844-646-6937 to discontinue the old transfer, then 2) Set up the new transfer in the new Digital Banking via the Transfers & Payments menu.
External transfers: If you have previously scheduled external transfers - transfers to your accounts at other financial institutions - those will NOT continue for security reasons. When the new Digital Banking is available, you can visit the Transfers & Payments menu to set up new external transfers.
-
If you were previously enrolled in Online Statements, you will be enrolled in our new eStatements after the upgrade. You may be prompted to accept new terms & conditions to access your eStatements the first time.
You will have access to up to two years of eStatements depending on your original enrollment date. -
The new Digital Banking supports popular money management software including Quicken and Quickbooks, and can also create downloadable CSV files for use in other third-party software.
As you prepare for this conversion, we recommend you complete a final download before conversion weekend, and disconnect your accounts in your third-party software.
After the conversion is complete, you can re-establish your third-party software connections in the new Digital Banking.
-
You will be automatically enrolled in a default set of security alerts, as well as any existing account alerts you previously established.
