Field Sales Leader - Minnwest Insurance Agency
Location: Montevideo, MN and Dawson, MN

Minnwest Insurance Agency is seeking an individual for a full-time Field Sales Leader for our Montevideo and Dawson locations.  This multi market leadership position is responsible for insurance sales development and sales leadership in the Montevideo and Dawson Markets.  Responsibilities include oversight of sales activities and the development sales and service strategies to grow and retain customers in the assigned territory.  As a Field Sales Leader, you will be responsible for writing and securing new policies, as well as maintaining and updating existing insurance programs to provide favorable coverage, cost terms, and claim settlements for a variety of types of insurance.  Focuses team efforts on new business and new client acquisitions.  This position is a licensed agent in Property & Casualty and Life & Health.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and two to four years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Candidates are required to have current license in Property & Casualty and Life & Health prior to employment. 
  3. Must have strong insurance coverage and policy knowledge.

Portfolio Manager I or II
Location: Montevideo, MN

Minnwest Bank is seeking a full-time Portfolio Manager for our Downtown Montevideo, MN location. Portfolio Managers have a critical role in providing a knock-out customer experience and ensuring that our customers are our first priority.  Portfolio Managers manage their own credit portfolio and cross-sell other bank services, primarily deposit accounts and treasury management services. You will team with other Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers to assist with relationship management, ongoing customer communication and active cross selling of related products/services.   This position is responsible for originating and servicing agricultural loans in accordance with the bank’s service standards and loan policy.

Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (BA) and one to three years Ag lending experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Specific, formal credit training or equivalent required. Ability to analyze complex balance sheet, income statement ratios, and cash flow statements.

As a Universal Banker, you will be responsible for providing all Minnwest Bank customers with a professional and courteous knockout customer experience, from sales to service. Provide solutions to satisfy customers' financial needs by opening new deposit accounts, consumer loans and handling customer deposit transactions. This position will also cross-sell bank retail and business products and services, as well as service existing account relationships.

Education/Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, 3 years customer service/sales experience preferred.

Successful candidates will have excellent customer service skills, professional inter-personal communication capabilities, and the ability to make solid referrals of bank products. Must be a dependable, organized, team player with a positive attitude who is looking for opportunities to continuously learn and grow within the organization.

Loan Operations Specialist II or III

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Minnwest Bank is seeking a Loan Operations Specialist II or III to work in the Sioux Falls, SD - Louise location.  Support our Commercial and Agricultural customer facing loan staff by ensuring a great customer experience though consistent execution, quick response to requests, and accurate loan workflow execution.  Demonstrate the technical, procedural, and regulatory requirements for effective loan processing.  You will use the bank’s core and loan-processing systems to create documentation, board loans, perform loan maintenance, and manage ticklers.

Successful candidates will demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills, appropriately prioritize multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, demonstrate tenacity to solve problems, and consistently demonstrate a positive outlook. 

Education/Experience:  High School diploma or equivalent required.  Previous loan experience is preferred.
