Lance Resner

Senior Market President

Lance is the Market President in Rochester, MN and has been with Minnwest Bank since 2017. He has held a wide range of roles and responsibilities in his career, from nearly all disciplines found at a financial institution, including teller, customer service, service manager, personal banker, private banker, credit analyst, business/commercial banker, and Market President. Lance leverages that range of experience to help clients navigate a multitude of problems and opportunities, looking at them from all angles, and providing recommendations that help them make the best decision for themselves and achieve financial success.

Outside of banking, Lance is currently Treasurer of Collider Foundation of Rochester. He was previously Vice Chair of the Rochester YMCA. Lance has a BA from Rochester Community and Technical College, a Bachelor of Business from Saint Mary's University, and completed The Wharton School - ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

Lance is married with two kids and two dogs. In his free time, he enjoys learning various science topics and understanding how things work. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking/backpacking, biking (road, gravel, single track, and snow), and canoeing/fishing. He also enjoys coaching youth athletics (football, baseball, and recently hockey).
