Fraud prevention strategies for success

Minnwest Bank, in partnership with The Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce and Watertown Police Department will host a free, 1-hour seminar designed to educate and protect business or ag operations against the ever-changing landscape of fraud. Explore strategies and best practices to safeguard your organization’s assets, reputation, and bottom line.

Speakers:

Andrea Spilde, Senior Cash Management Officer at Minnwest Bank, will share insights into what a businesses’ responsibilities are, common tactics targeting businesses, and practical solutions to address the prevalence of fraud in the modern business landscape.

Detectives Sig Sivertson & Jeremy Bjerke from the Watertown Police Department will share how these scams originate, some local stories, and the process involved should a business be targeted.
