Val has been with Minnwest Insurance Agency since 2022 and works primarily at the Downtown Montevideo location as well as the Ortonville office. Val attended St. Cloud University and has a degree in Advertising and Graphic communications. She is currently property and casualty insurance licensed in Minnesota and South Dakota with plans of expanding her product specialties in 2024 to include life, individual health and Medicare insurance products as well. Born and raised in Milbank she has many local connections throughout all of her markets and has spent her time as a new agent networking to build relationships with local realtors, bank staff and her communities by attending local Home and Rec shows. During the weekends, Val teaches Sunday school and also participates in the youth board for Grace Lutheran Church. She currently lives in Dawson with her boyfriend Steve, their yellow lab Max and their five children that keep them busy with their various activities. With the little free time she has available she enjoys doing crafts, cooking, spending time with family, watching Tik Toks and vacationing. Her dedication to her customers is top notch and she is excited to grow her customer base in the many markets she is involved in.
