Ag Banker
Location: Dawson, MN

Minnwest Bank is seeking an Ag Banker for location in Dawson, MN.  This position is responsible for managing their own credit portfolio and cross selling other bank services & deposit accounts.  The selected applicant will assist with relationship management, ongoing customer communication and work as a team to grow the Dawson market.  Duties and responsibilities include servicing the loan portfolio according to bank policy and managing all aspects of borrowing relationships, in addition to retaining and servicing existing clients, and developing additional accounts.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BA) and one to three years agriculture lending experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. (AA/EOE)

Agency Specialist
Location: Dawson, MN, and Ortonville, MN (shared position)

Minnwest Insurance Agency has an opening for an Agency Specialist. The position would have a work schedule between the Dawson and Ortonville, MN, locations various days of the week.  The accountability includes performing general office duties including agency billings, deposits, and policy endorsements.  Primary duties include representing the agency in the sale of all insurance products and services, assisting customers by determining and recommending insurance products and services that best satisfy the customer’s needs as well as answering/resolving customer questions or complaints, and processing policy endorsements.  This is a sales position. The property & casualty and health licenses are desirable. If not already licensed, the Agency will pay for the classes and test(s).  Position requires excellent customer service and sales skills as well as problem solving initiative.  Comes with a great benefit program including medical, dental, life, cash incentive, 401k, and profit-sharing.  AA/EOE

Credit Analyst II or III
Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Ag Banker Trainee
Location: Slayton, MN

This entry level position is responsible for learning and conducting basic ag credit analysis activities for Minnwest Bank and affiliates related to less complex credit relationships. This position is for candidates with either no prior banking experience or prior banking experience in other departments.  With a steep learning curve, expectations for the position will be presented through a detailed orientation program to help learn basic credit skills and generally what is expected from the candidate.  The candidate will be responsible for providing meaningful analysis of financial statements and of business and economic trends that impact borrowers. Candidates will learn to evaluate credit risk by spreading and analyzing borrower financial statements for initial underwriting credit presentations and ongoing annual reviews.  Candidates will be responsible for conducting routine account monitoring, including covenant tracking, borrowing base analysis and analysis of interim financial performance. Great benefit program including medical, dental, life, cash incentive, 401K and profit sharing. Business Development Manager, Business Development Officer
Location: St. Cloud, Minnetonka or Eagan, MN

Minnwest Bank has excellent opportunities for a Business Development Manager and a Business Development Officer-Depository & Cash Management Services. Both positions will be responsible for the growth and sales of deposits and all cash management services with the goal of increasing deposits, expanding relationships, and generating additional fee income. The positions are outward facing with an expectation of being out of the office networking, serving clients, making connections and developing prospects/business leads.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, performance management, and budgeting for the department.
